Turkey Earthquake: Magnitude 6.1 Tremor Near Düzce Leaves Two Dead and Hundreds of Buildings Damaged
A 6.1 magnitude earthquake struck near Düzce, western Turkey, on November 23, 2022, claiming two lives and injuring at least 93. Over 2,500 buildings suffered damage, especially older ones. The quake, linked to the North Anatolian Fault, also brought widespread panic and power outages.
