Plane crash at Isle of Wight holiday park: tourists watch as bystanders pull two from burning wreck
Families watched in shock as a light aircraft crashed and burst into flames at Whitecliff Bay Holiday Park on the Isle of Wight. The pilot and a passenger escaped with minor injuries after bystanders dragged them from the wreck. Fire crews from Newport and Ryde put out the blaze, and the park stayed open. Investigators are expected to review what happened after take-off from nearby Bembridge Airport.
