MGM Resorts' $25 plate fee: Las Vegas hotels now charging for real dishes
Guests at several MGM-owned Las Vegas resorts report a new $25 fee to get room service on real plates with metal cutlery, on top of a $10 delivery charge. The policy also hits guests who bring restaurant food to their rooms and ask for dishware. Families say costs can balloon fast. The move comes amid broader add-on fees in Vegas and growing scrutiny over price transparency.
