Can you get a tennis elbow from playing the piano?
As a pianist myself, I've often wondered if the repetitive motion of playing could lead to tennis elbow. It turns out, it actually can. Tennis elbow is caused by overuse and strain of the forearm muscles, which can occur from repetitive movements like playing the piano. However, with proper technique and frequent breaks, the risk can be reduced. So, while it's not common, it's definitely possible to get tennis elbow from tickling the ivories too much.
